The husband of a property developer of a woman who was allegedly stabbed in the chest outside her Sydney home has been charged with weapons possession.
Walt Coulston was charged with four counts of weapons and ammunition this week after police allegedly found the firearm inside his Dover Heights home.
The father of two was charged with possessing a shortened firearm, possessing ammunition without a license, failing to safely maintain a firearm, and possessing an unregistered firearm.
His matter will be heard in Waverley Local Court on October 11.
It comes just two months after her best friend, Matthew Brian Ramsay, showed up at her house at around 12:15pm on August 8th and plunged a 20cm knife into Helen Coulston’s chest.
Helen Coulston and her husband Walt (pictured on their wedding day) allegedly paid $10,000 in rehabilitation costs for the man who tried to kill Mrs. Coulston.
