A creep was filmed trying to buy a girl for her mother in Chicago and attempting to kidnap the young girl by pulling her hair after being ignored.

The attempt took place on West Fullerton Avenue and North Leclaire Avenue near the Belmont Cragin area of ​​the city at 11:58 a.m. Thursday, according to the Chicago Police Department.

The stranger walks past the mother and her young daughter in broad daylight, the video shows, before returning and striking up a conversation with the woman.

Shortly afterward, he strangely offered an unspecified amount of money to buy the boy, a police report revealed Saturday.

The victim’s age is unclear and neither she nor her mother have been identified.

The mother refused and walked away from the man along with her daughter, whose hand she was not holding. Just seconds later, the suspect attempts to snatch the girl from her mother by pulling on her hair.

The mother, carrying a backpack, instantly grabbed her son out of fear as the man continues walking down the street, downplaying what just happened.

CCTV footage captured the mother and the stranger having a conversation.  He was wearing a black t-shirt, a black cap, and red shorts.

Seconds after she refused to sell her daughter, the man tried to kidnap her by grabbing her hair while the mother was carrying a backpack.

Police did not disclose the amount the suspect offered the mother, but surveillance footage shows the man trying to kidnap the girl by pulling her hair shortly after the father turned his back on him.

Stunned, the mother appears to exchange angry words with the unidentified suspect as he continues to walk away. Her daughter is seen standing behind her in fear.

Police described the man as a young man between the ages of 20 and 25, of Hispanic descent, with bright red hair and a beard. Additionally, he is five feet six to five feet seven inches tall and reportedly weighs between 150 and 160 pounds.

CCTV footage also shows the suspect wearing a black T-shirt, black baseball cap and red shorts at the time of the incident.

The attempted kidnapping occurred just 16 days after a black man tried to kidnap a girl outside the Cermak Fresh Market near West Rogers Park on August 25.

Prosecutors said Terran McKethan, 20, was accused of kidnapping a 9-year-old girl after trying to run away with her on foot on the city’s north side.

He grabbed the girl at the grocery store entrance on North Damen Avenue and walked her for about a block before she bit his hand, causing McKethan to drop her.

The girl is now safe, police told ABC 7 Chicago.
