Cristiano Ronaldo seemed to go manchester united‘s friendly with Rayo Vallecano early, intensifying scrutiny over his future at Old Trafford.
Ronaldo wants to leave the club since United do not have Champions League football this season.
He played the first 45 minutes of Sunday’s friendly against Rayo Vallecano and received an enthusiastic reception from the United fans in attendance.
But a United fan in Twitter posted two photos of Ronaldo outside the stadium, claiming that the Portugal star left before the final whistle of the match.
‘The king is gone,’ the fan wrote with a crying emoji next to it.
But not all United fans responded with sadness to the image.
“The disrespect this man shows, not even Pogba was that disrespectful,” said a United supporter.
Another wrote: ‘I can’t stress enough how bad this looks from Cristiano, both in terms of professionalism and setting an example for the youngsters who played today. Does not matter who you are. Compartment.’
Ironically, despite the fact that Ronaldo is pushing to leave, United shared a video on their Twitter before the match of him entering the stadium captioned: ‘Cristiano – arriving at Old Trafford’.
