The weekly podcast kicks off its third season next Wednesday, and Princess Anne’s son-in-law took a moment to promote it on his Instagram past Thursday night.

He shared online from the podcast’s own page, detailing when the third season begins.

This marks the return to work for the father of three, who attended Her Majesty’s funeral and engagement with his wife and eldest daughter, eight-year-old Mia, on Monday.

It comes as King Charles continues to privately mourn his mother at the Balmoral estate, where the queen died 12 days ago with him at her side, while Prince Edward, Princess Anne, Prince William and Kate Middleton returned to to work.

Mike seemed visibly shaken as he said goodbye to the late monarch at Westminster Abbey, and was pictured comforting Sophie Wessex’s 14-year-old son James.

The rugby star previously spoke about his first meeting with the Queen on his podcast, The Good, The Bad and The Rugby.

He said: ‘My palms were sweaty. I think anyone would. She is a legend of a lady that I still get nervous when I see her.

“I’m much more comfortable now, but… it’s been a journey.”

After news of the Queen’s death broke on September 8, Mike paid a moving tribute to Her Majesty on social media, sharing an illustration of a corgi crying next to a crown.

Throughout her reign, one constant in the Queen’s life was her unwavering love for her corgis, so much so that the pets have become a symbol of British royalty.

The image was drawn by artist Danielle Davis, who shared the illustration on her Instagram page @danieled.art a few days ago.

The former England rugby professional, who met the Queen’s granddaughter in a Sydney bar in 2003, has previously said he thought the monarch was “amazing” and that people believed she was “invincible”.

William and Kate aren’t the only royals to return to work in person; Princess Anne, 72, walked out to Portsmouth Naval Base, where she shook hands with Royal Navy personnel who took part in the procession. It is her first engagement since she attended her mother’s funeral on Monday.
