England were criticized for their ‘criminal’ batting as they slid to a six-run Twenty20 loss to Pakistan.
Chasing 146 to win in Lahore, Moeen Ali’s side lost three cheap wickets on the power play, ending up coming up short despite their captain’s 51 not being 3-2 down in the seven-match series.
The Tourists were also three wickets down after just two overs in Sunday’s three-run defeat at Karachi, with former England batsman Mark Butcher breaking down on their tactics in comments, calling them ‘criminals’ before adding: ‘Their approach seemed silly to me.
England captain Moeen Ali had a brilliant half-century but it was not enough to secure victory.
