Friday release: Angelina Jolie’s ‘Eternals’ (with preview) in Nepal from tomorrow

Kathmandu. The superhero film ‘Eternals’ directed by Oscar winning director Kool Zhao is being released in Nepali film halls on Friday. Rattan Tomatoes, which has a 47 percent rating, is set to release in a multiplex.

Marvel is the 26th film in the Cinematic Universe, starring Gemma Chan, Richard Madden, Kumail Nanijani, Angelina Jolie and Salma Hayek. At present, the 25th film of this universe, Sang Chi, is being screened at the Nepali box office.

Its story is about the struggle of superheroes against an enemy called Deviant from another planet to save the history and civilization of the earth. Jolie can be seen in the role of a character named Thena in the film who can create weapons without any space force.

The ten superheroes: Ajak, Cersi, Icaris, Kingo, Sprite, Fastos, During, Gilgamesh and Thena are collectively called Eternals. They are sent to the starship to save the earth from an imaginary planet called Celestial Aricem.

For 5,000 years they have lived in isolation on different parts of the earth. Some creatures from other planets called Icarus come and try to colonize the earth. In the process, they clash with the Eternal Superheroes. They unite to fight the Iraqis.

Jolie can be seen in full action role in the film. He has the character of using weapons including swords and daggers. Cersei is in the role of the character. His character is shown to be able to change an object by touching it.

Eternals is being released at a time when another film from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Sang Chi, Bollywood films Suryavanshi, Dune, Venom and James Bond films No Time to Screen are being screened.
