Chinese President Xi Jinping will attend a meeting of APEC economic leaders

Chinese President Xi Jinping will attend the 28th Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Economic Leaders’ Meeting in Beijing on Friday at the invitation of the New Zealand Prime Minister via video link. President Xi will deliver a keynote address on the occasion.
Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Hua Chunying made the announcement on Wednesday. The Chinese Foreign Ministry said in a video recorded on Thursday that President Xi will attend the APEC CEO Summit and address it as the keynote speaker.
