CBBC stars reunite at the wedding of Michael Absalom and Francesca Sanders as Jake Humphrey shares a beaming group shot from his big day.

The CBBC stars thrilled fans on Sunday when they reunited at the wedding of Michael Absalom and Francesca Sanders.

Best of Friends host Michael, 42, and his new wife Francesca tied the knot after announcing their engagement in December 2021.

And Jake Humphrey, whose hosting career soared after Against All Odds on CBBC, shared a beaming image with his fellow presenters.

The stars dressed for the UK heatwave as they all donned summer wedding attire at the stunning ceremony.

On the left side of the bride and groom were Jake and Angellica Bell, who hosted a variety of fan-favorite shows including That’s Genuis. and Xchange between 2000 and 2006.

On the other side was Barney Harwood, who introduced Prank Patrol, and Michael Underwood, who is best known for appearing in Whatever You Want.

Michael and Angelica married in 2010 after meeting on CBBC and sharing two children, Elijah, nine, and Keziah, seven.

A glamorous Kirsten O’Brien and Rani Price also attended to support their former colleagues.

Jake captioned the post: “I love a wedding.” I love especially. Wedding that turns into a meeting of CBBC presenters! Your childhood in that photo?

Abs and Frannie. What a couple, what a day, what adventures await us. Thanks for letting us share in the fun.’

Everyone seemed in high spirits at the mini-meeting, but it comes after Jake called his old workplace CBBC “aggressive and malicious,” claiming there was a battle of egos at the kids’ station.

According to The Sun, Jake, 43, who started presenting at CBBC in 2001, said in a podcast: ‘CBBC was probably the most competitive, aggressive and malicious place.

Everyone was young. Everyone wanted to be the next big thing.

Jake hosted the CBBC shows BAMZOOKi, Against All Odds and Rule The School, and also hosted the Fame Academy channel’s coverage with Holly Willoughby.
