Brian Lara’s claim: Pakistan can beat Australia

Former West Indies cricketer Brian Lara has claimed that Pakistan will beat Australia in the second semi-final of the T20 World Cup.

This game is taking place on Thursday night. Before the game, Lara tweeted, “Australia’s team is very dangerous. Their lineup is very strong, which can beat anyone. But Pakistan has both batting and bowling skills that can make it to the finals. ‘

Brian Lara claimed that New Zealand would win the first semi-final. His claim proved true. New Zealand have reached the final of the Twenty20 Cricket World Cup by defeating England by five wickets.

Pakistan’s record against Australia in T20 is also good. The two nations have played 23 Twenty20 internationals, of which 13 have been won by Pakistan and nine by Australia.

In this edition of T20 World Cup, Pakistan is the only team that has not lost a single game. Pakistan had beaten India as well as New Zealand, Afghanistan, Scotland and Namibia in the group stage.
