Bangar as the coach of Royal Challengers Bangalore

23 October, Kathmandu. Indian Premier League (IPL) team Royal Challengers Bangalore has appointed Sanjay Bangar as its head coach.

Former India all-rounder Bangar has been appointed coach for the next two seasons. He was a batting consultant in 2021.

He will now replace Mike Harn. Hassan became the coach after Simon Katich resigned for personal reasons before the start of the UAE League. After Bangar becomes the coach, Hassan will return to his old role of director of cricket operations.

But Bangalore will now have to find a new captain. Because Virat Kohli is stepping down as captain from the end of the season.
